As a New Zealander i feel somewhat embarrassed to admit that i have not been to Australia until only recently, when my brother and i flew over there as part of my 40th birthday. Of course, one cannot go to Australia for the first time without checking out some of the essentials, and that is what we did. So i took the opportunity to get creative on the trip by bringing along my camera to see what catches my eye, the first time i had done so in a while.
Here is a selection of 19 images from the trip where we visited Sydney and the Blue Mountains. It was a fantastic experience visiting our fair neighbours across the Tasman, some lovely sights, food and people.
